One way or return: Both are pricedA one-way drop costs less than a round trip, but the driver still has to come back — that is in the number, and we say so.

Tolls and state taxes: Not in the base farePunjab, Haryana and Himachal all charge their own. We list them separately so you can see them.
Fuel: Included with a driverUnlike self-drive, a chauffeured trip is quoted with fuel in it.

Should you drive it yourself?

Most people who ring us already know. If you do not, the honest split is this.

FAQ

Common questions about hiring a driver.

How much is a taxi from Chandigarh to Delhi?

It depends on the car and whether you want one way or a return, so we quote it rather than publish one number that is wrong for most people. Message us the date and how many of you there are and you will have the fare in minutes. The drive is 245 km, about four and a half hours.

Is there a security deposit with a driver?

No. The deposit applies to self-drive rentals, where you are responsible for the car. With our driver, our driver is responsible for it.

Do you do one-way drops?

Yes, to Delhi, Shimla, Manali, Amritsar and most places in between. A one-way costs less than a return, but not half — the car and driver still have to come home, and that is in the quote.

Can the driver stay with us for the whole trip?

Yes. Multi-day trips are quoted per day with the driver’s time and his overnight stay included. Tell us the dates and the route when you ask.

Which car should we take to Manali?

An automatic SUV. The road is long and the last stretch is slow, and an automatic makes a real difference over eight hours. For Spiti it has to be a 4×4 — the Thar, Hilux, Rubicon or Defender.

Are tolls and taxes included?

They are quoted separately so you can see them. Punjab, Haryana and Himachal each charge their own on an outstation run, and hiding them in one number is how people end up arguing at the end of a trip.

What about a bigger group?

Past seven seats you want a tempo traveller. They come with a driver as standard and seat nine and up.

Do you pick up from the airport?
